The photo: How many Lake Louise photos are too many? No doubt, the landscape surrounding the beautiful turquoise or snow-covered lake is breathtaking! But, among the crowds of adventurers, from near and far, coming to experience and photograph this beauty, there are some for whom Lake Louise means hard work. The horse being the biggest, strongest, and likely the nicest creature you’re likely to encounter around the Chateau is bound to wear its bright red harness, rain or snow, and is certainly worth some photographic attention. Even this powerful animal cannot overlook the brutality of the Canadian winter in the mountains. In this capture, if you look closely, you will see a combination of motion and stillness in the horse’s movement, conveying a sense of perseverance and intelligence of this animal to be productive, and yet conservative with its power. The fine details in the horse’s frost covered coat and the harshness of the surrounding conditions is perfectly complemented by the rough texture of Hahnemühle’s William Turner Fine Art Paper, giving the frost and the snow that extra bit of visual bite.
